Sunday of the Prodigal Son 2021

On Sunday February 5/18th, The Sunday of the Prodigal Son, His Eminence Metropolitan Demetrius served the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of Saint Markella in Astoria, New York.

He arrived on the previous Tuesday to take part in the funeral of the chanter Apostoles Papaioannou. He remained throughout the week visiting faithful, attending the daily services, and discussed Church matters with many of the faithful.
