On Sunday, December 8, 2013, a hierarchical Divine Liturgy was celebrated at St. Isidoros Greek Orthodox Church on Long Island, N.Y. His Grace, Bishop Christodoulos of Theoupolis, celebrated the Liturgy, along with Frs. Kleanthis Korkotas and Nicholas Seregos.
Following Divine Liturgy, a banquet, the St. Myrope Annual Luncheon, was held at the North Ritz Club in Syosset, N.Y., in the afternoon. The banquet was well-attended by many of the faithful of St. Isidoros.

Q. I noticed that we call the angels Michael and Gabriel "Saint." I thought the title "Saint" was only given to humans who have proven themselves Godly. Do you mind clarifying this for me? Is there a deeper meaning to "Saint" that I am not aware of?
