Nativity at St. John of Kronstadt Mission in Bunnell, FL

With the blessings of His Eminence, Metropolitan Pavlos of America, Hieromonk Savvas Anastasiou served the St. John of Kronstadt Mission in Bunnell, FL on the Saturday after the Nativity of Christ.

On Friday evening Dec. 29, 2012/Jan 11, 2013 they served the Ninth Hour, Vespers, Matins, and First Hour; and on Saturday morning Dec. 30, 2012/Jan 12, 2013 the Third and Sixth Hours followed by the Divine Liturgy. This schedule of services is observed whenever Fr. Savvas serves the Mission, which is, by the grace of God, about every six weeks. On Sundays, the community gathers together and chants the service of the Typica without a priest.

Εις την εφημερίδα «Ελεύθερην Ώραν» της 6-8-2009 (ν.η.) ανγράφεται το ακόλουθον δημοσίευμα υπό τίτλον «Ο Γράψας, ο Παϊσιος και η Προφητεία!»:

«Για τον στρατηγό Δ. Γράψα υπήρχε άλλη Προφητεία. Την φοβήθηκαν.

Q. Are the prayers in the blue prayer book [A Prayerbook for Orthodox Christians by the Holy Transfiguration Monastery —ed.] compulsory for everyone?
